This project responds to call-to-action 62 that came out of the TRC with the goal of shedding light, educating, and correcting falsities taught or not even mentioned in the public school system. We completed this project in consultation with local Indigenous artist Bracken Hanuse Corlett.

We used the insight that textbooks were a means the government used to control the narrative so we used the twisted page imagery to show the two sides of the story—the filtered vs. the unfiltered.
